Associació de Mestres Rosa Sensat

Rosa Sensat is a teachers' association, a Movement for Pedagogical Renovation that works for the common interest of improving education.

Aims

• The dissemination of pedagogical theories and practices which aim at the global development of children and are deeply rooted in the respect for the child's personality and his freedom, and the promotion of the child's active participation in his own learning process.
  
• The on-going training of teachers, grounded both on experimentation and in theory, and developed through individual and collective reflection. 
  
• The pursue of a public and democratic school, deeply inbred in the country's reality, with all its members, teachers, families and students actively engaged on its daily management l and on the definition of its pedagogical line.
